Youtube

YouTube

Here in America the internet source is a very powerful tool. As I say this, more and more people who have a normal life become a famous known person through the internet. Singing, sports, and much more people are making a name for themselves through the recognition of their fan base or viewers.
As I watched clips from WongFu Productions, which is a group of three Asian guys who are into making short videos and editing them. From the very beginning they had nothing but were just going to school and making videos. Now, they have an office with productions of t-shirts that they sell online. They also work for other sensational internet stars like David Choi who is a singer and NigaHiga who creates his own videos.
WongFu Production had also produced a video for Far East Movement which is a new cast of hip hop stars in the making. The internet is a very powerful tool to express yourself and I think these guys did a very well job. Even though these guys are Asian, they do collaborations with other ethnicities.
It’s great to see people start from the bottom up. You get to see a variety of struggles and success that the person had to endure to become success. WongFu Productions is a great example and great role model for the young generations especially Asians. You don’t see many famous Asians here in America but more are on the rise as I see it.

PSN

PSN

There has been a big controversy about what is really happening with the psn or playstaytion network. But after a week, Sony has put out the news about what actually happend to the network and why it has been down. After being hacked, playstaytion took action in debugging the virus so its customers would not lose money from these hackers.

The hackers found a way to get into the mainframe of the network. This allowed them to obtain access to customer's accounts and use creditcards or purchase playstation points to get other features avalible through online.

The thing I found interesting was that playstaytion never really had any outbreaks close to this. This was probably the biggest news that broke out for playstation. I know for a fact that a lot of gamers had hacked into x box and modded there system. But as for playstaytion, there was non hackable system up until this year.

It seems that playstaytion might have been keeping hackers away but lately they have probably put their gaurd down just enough for these hackers to hack into sony. Overall this outbreak has cause many gamers to stop playing games online, but will this effect the consumers to keep playing on this system.

The Vow

This past weekend, I went to the movies to go watch “The Vow”.  The movie was about a couple that had gotten married and was very happy.  They got into a car accident and both were sent to the emergency room.  When the husband woke up, his wife was still in a comatose state and was in that state for about two or so weeks.  She then came conscious and had forgotten that he was her husband.  She lost any memory that she had with him and questioned everything that everyone said.  And throughout the movie, he tries to find things to make his wife fall back in love with him all over again.
I thought that this movie was pretty bad.  I thought that is was going to be a better movie because of all the hype that was going on.  The movie should have been a little more exciting and should have added a little more humor.  Though it did consist of some humor, it could have been better. If I was to rate it, I would rate it a 2 out of 5 star movie.
Plus another thing that I didn’t like about the movie was the ending.  It was like those movies where it just ended without anything really leading to it.  Like uh, “That’s it?!?!“ kind of movies.  I hate it when that happens because you would have expected something more but it just ends out of nowhere.
Now I regret paying $14 on a movie that wasn’t that good.  Usually I ask for other people’s advices first before watching movies.  But whatever is done is done so it’s ok.  But if I were to recommend this to someone else, I would probably say that it is not worth watching in the theatre but rather to just wait for it to come out on redbox. =)
