McDonaldssssss

So what are your expectations for any fast food restaurant? Are all typical fast rood restaurants all about quality or quantity and how fast do they serve to their customers. As the way how I see it, it varies from person to person. If the employee is lazy, you would receive a crummy job and vice versa for a dedicated worker.
Just today cousins and I went to McDonalds. It was just another regular day for the both of us looking for a meal to munch on for breakfast. At the second window the cashier told us to pull up front because they needed to make a new batch of hot chocolate. These are the times that I hated fast food restaurants. I mean they are just trying to do their jobs but man it took forever.
I’m not sure if it is just that they don’t care or is it just a very sloppy job done due to the amount of customers they get at that time.  At times it does feel that they might have forgotten about you but really they are just really busy. I mean fast food is great and very cheap for people who are in a rush and don’t have money. But sometimes we want things gone our way cause of bad situations of time management.  I have always believed that the motto for customer service was always on the consumer and that they were always right.  Come to think of it, that is one stupid motto and one stupid cliché to put onto people’s minds people that’s a wrong thing to be doing; we pretty much take situations and things like customer service to our great advantage and our provider’s disadvantages.
Overall fast food restaurants are cheap and a great way to go for food; yet in different situations like rushing or bad time management, we get irritated and frustrated at the employees who serve us food. We expect it to be fast and cheap but when it takes forever, we get mad for the dumbest reasons and ask why there are doing so bad at their jobs and how come it can’t be any fast!?

TV

Now is it really true that in Texas, everything is bigger? I was watching this show on steak and the top places to eat food and they mentioned that Texas started the 72 oz eating contest. The contest was to eat a 72 oz steak within 1 hour and if you finish you won't have to pay for your meal. I love steak but I don’t think I could ever do that because it’s pretty tough to even eat a 20oz steak already.

There was also another show I watched and it's funny. There's this guy who goes around America and tries competitions on eating food. The show is called Man vs. Food and it’s pretty interesting how little restaurants could come up with these competitions.  The competitions had usually the same kind of food but in different places. They love the competition because it helps with their business and whose ever stuff is better, people will go there and eat it more!

To think about it, these days television has changed a lot. It's like they are running out of ideas to make up new shows. But to think of it, they do really make shows that are pointless and very weird as well. Shows like 1000 ways to die is a pretty good show and another show like pranked, where they shoot videos or people send videos into them and they air it on television for everyone to see. There are some pretty funny stuff that people do and are very dangerous but in the end, it gives the viewers a good laugh.

Back when i was younger, I always watched either news or the cartoon shows. Now there are so many out there that it’s not even possible to watch all of them. There isn’t enough time in the day to watch all of them. That is another reason why people get so caught up in it; television is killing our society today! [somewhat…]

Superhero-villain..?

What would the world be like if we all had super powers? Would the world be a better place or would mankind use their powers for the better good? If I had super powers, I would want the strength of superman. Superman is probably the strongest super hero there is. Though he has only one weakness, which is why I wouldn’t want his full strength.
As goes for an additional power, I like to have spider sense. His sense could possibly be the most quickest and best to defeat close combat villains. With his quick sense and brute strength of superman, I could possibly be one of the strongest super heroes ever. These would be a good combination of skills and powers.
For my last power, I think having body regeneration like wolverine would be something worth having. In that way, if I ever get hurt in battles with bad guys, I would come back and beat them up with them not knowing my true powers. I wouldn’t have to worry about the long wait until I heal. I would be ready right away after being cut or beat up really bad. And also having his sense of smell would be great. I could detect people that are trying to kill me or harm other people that are innocent. Something kind of like an animal with great sense of smell and hearing would be pretty cool!
Overall, these are only some of what I would love to have as super powers. Though, having too much power wouldn’t work out just because there will be those who hate you. They will retaliate because you try to make the world a better place. With great power you have great responsibilities.  Trying to solve everything in this world would probably just make you go crazy. Another thing is that having too much power can overtake someone mentally and turn them into a bad hero or a villain, which would be bad for the world so being who I am right now… is quite ok.

Life

Communication and patience are two of many important ideas that contribute to a healthy and successful relationship.  Whether the relationship is with a family member or a friend, both communication and patience goes a long way.  They help clear up information that is uncertain and help each individual to know what the other's ideas and thoughts are.  I'm sure many of us would rather have relationships that are helpful rather than be more troublesome.

When we first think of relationships, we think of good or bad communication.  With any relationship, lacking communication is a bad thing.  Communicating helps one another know what each are thinking and their ideas.  After laying their thoughts and ideas on the table, both parties can come to agreements on whether they agree with their ideas or agree that they disagree.  Knowing what the other is thinking helps you to open your mind and step into a different point of view.  This idea helps an individual to successfully determine what are the consequences and the best outcomes of a situation.

For example, when I am in a situation that is complicated and full of confusion, I like to take a step back and take a deep breath.  I first think of what the others are thinking of and what they may be feeling at the moment and about the situation.  I really take into consideration of how others will be affected by the situation and about all the possible outcomes of the situation.  Even though most situations are tough to figure out, I've learned that you may never be perfect and you can never make everyone happy.  I've also learned through experience that emotions don't really help in times of decision making.  It actually makes it harder for you to choose the right outcome.

On the other hand, patience really helps with anything you do in life.  In relationships, patience helps tremendously in having a healthy relationship with another person.  It helps to divert emotions and quick reactions to situations that you may rather think about first then to act on right away.  Patience is not an easy trait to acquire but in life, everything takes time and it's a process to become closer to 'Perfect'.  Another word that can be similar to having patience is tolerance.

For example, having a high tolerance level in your relationship can be a good thing and a bad thing.  For one, it can be a bad thing because if you are too patient and you let the other person walk all over you, it's almost as if you've lost all your dignity for yourself and your identity.  There is a fine line in which you are patient enough to divert the situation in escalating.  On the other hand, having little patience neither helps you nor the person you are in the relationship with.  The situations flows from emotions and ends with emotions; which is something that could end up where you may not want it to be.

So, keep that in mind that!  Try it out, maybe take some time to step in the other person's shoes and see what they are going through or how they are thinking.  Broaden your thoughts and ideas; everything is a learning process and we need each other to learn.  By the way, 'Deep Breathing' truly helped me through life.  See for yourself, everyone is different.

RPG

One of my nephews' came over this past weekend and tried introducing a game to me. The game was called Age of Mythology, which is about mythical creatures from the Romans, Greeks, and other Goddesses. The basic game play for this game; is to build up your civilization and fight the other players to defeat them in total domination. There are other types of categories you could play as well within the game too.
I was a bit hesitant because I was more into RPG (role playing game) type of games. But after I got the feeling of an addiction, there was no holding back of my leaving the computer screen. I basically played the game from nine in the morning up until one am the following day. This thing was by far so addicting.
Coming from me, I would totally buy this game and play it.  I love playing games like these because it’s something that I could take the time to learn and play for a long stretch of time.  This game is a game that you could really get addicted to and become very interested in it.  It's so fun building an army and destroying your enemies. After he told me about other versions, I had to look them up and purchase the other games. The funny thing about that day was that I actually bought the game.
Overall, this game is totally awesome and is probably the most addicting game on the market. This by far is probably the best game I played in the longest and I would totally recommend it to everyone who loves playing games.  The prices on these games are not that bad and are very well affordable. It's a game made for everyone because the game play is very easy to get used to and easy to learn.

Weekendssss

This weekend was a pretty interesting weekend.  I had a fun and exciting weekend.  First off, Friday was just the regular Friday spent at home and enjoying the day volunteering after work.  I got off at 10am from work and headed straight to the Salvation Army right after.  It was an experience like no other.  I met many people there that had interesting stories to tell and had the desire to work.  It was quite nice to experience something new and different; something that wasn’t what I accustomed to and was comfortable with.  As Saturday came along, we attended one of my friend’s wedding in Milwaukee.  It was nice to get out of town and enjoy the weekend elsewhere other than little old Sheboygan.  The wedding went well and we had a blast.  After the ceremony finished, we headed to the banquet hall, which I thought was pretty big at the time of arrival.  Until more and more people started to show up, the place had been packed!  I’ve noticed that in the American culture, if you don’t rsvp for an event like a wedding, you don’t attend that event!  The thing with the Hmong culture is that it’s not like that at all.  Even if you get 100 people who reply back with an rsvp, there could potentially be 300 people that could come.  That’s something that has always been very bothersome.  The good thing was that the food didn’t run out but on the other hand, some people had to stand and seats were a high commodity!  After the wedding, we also went out for another friend’s birthday.  Went downtown and bar hopped through water street.  It was a night to remember.  Had a great time with friends and enjoyed each others’ company!
I think that it’s what you make out of your weekends and life I general.  It’s either, you make it fun and exciting or boring and full of disappointments.  It’s also hard to go by good friends that you could enjoy moments with as well and when you find good friends, keep them close.  It’s never wrong to have many friends!

bowling

This past weekend was a bowling weekend for me!  I went on Saturday with some of my church members and friends and recently just got back from bowling with my brothers.  It has been a nice weekend bowling because bowling reminds me of the winter time when there is nothing to do but to bowl.  We used to go every single weekend in the past and have around 20 people go out there to the lanes and just bowl and socialize.  Sheboygan is not the most exciting place during the winter time so bowling quickly became a hobby for most of us.  I usually average around 180 or so, which is mediocre for a bowler.  The most that I have ever scored was 246, which was very exciting!  I still remember that day like it just happened.  I was playing lights out and was doing very well.
When it comes to bowling, there are many different kinds of techniques that will make you a better bowler.  First, it comes with your form and how you approach before you throw.  Secondly, it depends on how heavy your bowling all is and how hard you throw the bowling ball.  Finally, the key to becoming a good bowler is to be consistent with everything that you do.  I have noticed from experience and from watching other people is that bowling it kind of like a rhythm, you try to do the same thing every time you get up to the lane and toss your bowling ball the same.  If you are hitting the ‘pocket’, which is where you are suppose to be hitting to get a strike, you want to hit that spot every single time to get all strikes.  It is easier said than done but consistency really helps a person become a great bowler.
I have always wanted to try joining a bowling league but never had the courage to push myself in joining.  Hopefully in the future, I can join some small leagues and get the feeling of playing with others and enjoying the sport as well.  My coworkers talk about it all the time so I hope we start a team.
