bowling

This past weekend was a bowling weekend for me!  I went on Saturday with some of my church members and friends and recently just got back from bowling with my brothers.  It has been a nice weekend bowling because bowling reminds me of the winter time when there is nothing to do but to bowl.  We used to go every single weekend in the past and have around 20 people go out there to the lanes and just bowl and socialize.  Sheboygan is not the most exciting place during the winter time so bowling quickly became a hobby for most of us.  I usually average around 180 or so, which is mediocre for a bowler.  The most that I have ever scored was 246, which was very exciting!  I still remember that day like it just happened.  I was playing lights out and was doing very well.
When it comes to bowling, there are many different kinds of techniques that will make you a better bowler.  First, it comes with your form and how you approach before you throw.  Secondly, it depends on how heavy your bowling all is and how hard you throw the bowling ball.  Finally, the key to becoming a good bowler is to be consistent with everything that you do.  I have noticed from experience and from watching other people is that bowling it kind of like a rhythm, you try to do the same thing every time you get up to the lane and toss your bowling ball the same.  If you are hitting the ‘pocket’, which is where you are suppose to be hitting to get a strike, you want to hit that spot every single time to get all strikes.  It is easier said than done but consistency really helps a person become a great bowler.
I have always wanted to try joining a bowling league but never had the courage to push myself in joining.  Hopefully in the future, I can join some small leagues and get the feeling of playing with others and enjoying the sport as well.  My coworkers talk about it all the time so I hope we start a team.

Wisconsin Dells

During this past weekend, I went to Wisconsin Dells with my wife and her two younger brothers.  I have always liked to go there as a kid when my family took the yearly vacations.  We used to go to the Kalahari resort all the time!  It is one of the better resorts in Kalahari, in my opinion.  The indoor water park is by far the largest one and an indoor theme park that had multiple activities available.  The theme park consisted of go carting, laser tag, rock climbing, movie theatre, obstacle climbing, huge arcade area, bowling alley, a mini golf course, and even a ferris wheel located inside!  The place was so full with kids that it was hard for us walk around and maneuver through areas.  The place was glowing with lights and attractions that seemed to draw their customers more and more to spending their money.  This was also during St. Patricks Day weekend as well so the theme leaned more towards leprechauns and shamrocks.  The arcade games were not typical arcade games.  Most of them had huge flat screens and were very eye catching.  Some of them were even touch screen games like ‘fruit ninja’, which is an app game on smart phones.  Something that I thought was very interesting because transitioning it from your phone to a 46 inch flat screen tv made it that much COOLER!!  Other games that I thought they emphasized on were the wheel of fortune and deal or no deal games.  They were displayed on very large tv screens and made the experience quite entertaining!  It gave you the feeling that you were really playing the games and had a sense of ‘wow-ness’.  I thought that they did a great job in pulling their customers into these places with their unique attractions.  Even though the games were ranging from $2 to even $5, it was very easy to just play them.  This probably was because the only way to play the games were if you had a card and had credit in them!  It’s like having a credit card with a balance but you use it when you want to play a specific one[game].  All you do it swipe and there you go.  We noticed that our credits and money went down really fast when we starting playing.  All of a sudden, the money was done and we finished.  Overall, this experience went well and Wisconsin Dells did exactly what they wanted to do.  Keep their customers happy while making lots and lots of money from their customers!

Camping Trip

A couple of my friends and I are planning this camping trip in a few months.  It’s going to be at one of his brother’s land.  At the moment, we are in the process of planning what to bring, such as: food, materials, equipment and etc.  It’s a pretty difficult task to handle because of the amount of people going.  We have about twelve to eighteen people going so far and a couple of them are still undecided. But like I said before, it’s pretty difficult to plan something for a good amount of people.
Some of the activities that we are planning on doing are fishing, hiking, and other sport activities.  Hopefully everything falls through correctly and everyone has a great time.  It’s not something that we do every single day and it’s something different that we can get out of this small town and hang out.
I’m not really an outdoorsman but it is something I am willing to try out and experience with close friends.  The thing that I want to learn the most on this camping trip is to fish.  There are so many things to learn from it and so many different ways to do it.  There are also so many kinds of fish out there!  It will be something that we will remember and hopefully have a lot of fun.  I will learn more techniques and styles from fishing with some of my cousins that fish a lot.  They recently just bought a boat and hoping that we could try it out there.
With everything that is going on, I hope that everything goes well because there is only a few of us that are going to be planning this event.  There is a lot of responsibility among the few people that are planning this trip because they have to think of ideas and ways that will make this camping trip fun and exciting.  I am one of them and I hope that it will turn out well.  This will hopefully not be the last of our camping trips but yet, the beginning of more to come!

MW3

Modern Warfare is a first person shooting game where you could play online against other players all around the world. The point of this game is to basically shoot and kill your opponent while they do the same to you. There are other types of play like capture the flag, demolition, and much more. It’s a very interesting but yet dizzy game to play but I just don’t understand why it’s so addicting.
To run around all crazy like you’ve gotten your head cut off is a pretty funny site to see. After a while of play you will soon notice that some of the more devoted players of this game would wear a microphone head set to commute with other players on tactical play.  Sometimes a little trash talking always makes the game play more interesting. Not even that but some of the things they say are just ridiculously funny.
This game is super addicting. Some of my friends play this game so much that they called in for work just to play. It's pretty crazy seeing how a video game can manage a person's life. At times when I watch others play they tend to ignore conversations to have total focus in the game, now that's pretty harsh.
If you’re into gaming or this type of gaming I would suggest you get this game or wait on the newer one called black ops. It’s from a different maker but it should be just as fun. Just don’t get too addicted and not have any time for other fun stuff.
